Coleman vs Wanderer Tents

Let me tell you about my personal experience and opinion about the Coleman and Wanderer tents to help you figure out what’s what and why. I think the information I have will help you understand which tent you will like more. Which tent of these brands presented has exactly the features and advantages that you are looking for at the moment. I understand you perfectly well, These brands are reputable enough that you have doubts about the choice

What I know and can say about Coleman Tents

It has happened that I have used Coleman tents several times on hikes, and they have shown that they are reliable and easy to use and that you can definitely rely on them. One of my favorite and most used models is the Coleman Instant Up6P. It was easy to set up a tent (but I’m a professional) – it took more than 5 minutes, which is a big plus if, like me, you always want to do it as quickly as possible and enjoy your journey and vacation. My family of four is housed in a fairly spacious tent, and the built-in LED lighting system has become an excellent addition for night card games and heart-to-heart conversations when you want to see someone.

However, during rainy weather, I noticed that water accumulates a little on the awning. Although the tent itself remained dry, the awning needed to be adjusted slightly to prevent water accumulation and so that no one would be afraid to get wet. Despite this minor problem, the overall strength and impression of the tent and weather resistance were quite good, the main thing was that they did not spoil our trip in any way, which was the most important thing.

What I know and can say about Wanderer Tents

Another time I decided to test the strength of the Wanderer Nightfall 10P Dome tent, since it was given to me a long time ago and I try to definitely try something new to find the perfect one for me. This tent was a little more difficult to install compared to the Coleman Instant Up (but I installed it for the first time, and I’ve installed the Coleman a million times already), but once it was installed, it turned out to be quite durable and comfortable. Our camp was in a windy area, and the tent structure calmly withstood strong gusts of wind and our anxiety. The spacious interior was suitable for our company, we were not bored, and everyone knew that he had a small corner, and himself, and the ventilation system of the tent provided us with fresh air throughout the night.

The only drawback I noticed is the small variety of Wanderer tents available. Although the Nightfall series was great, I wish there were more options to choose from, I like to choose for the mood and kids like to try new things. In addition, it was not easy to find Wanderer tents in local stores, so I had to order my own online.

Conclusion

In my opinion, if you want fast setup and a wide range of options and variety, then Coleman is what you need. Coleman tents are reliable, beautiful, they can be used for a long time, and they will definitely not let you down or disappoint you and offer quite reasonable prices for quality.

On the other hand, if you plan to set up your tent in a windy area and you need a tent that can withstand gusts of wind, Wanderer tents will definitely be a good choice. That’s exactly what happened to me. They may have limited choice, but their wind resistance is stress-resistant and spacious enough inside, which makes them worthy of your attention and a strong enough competitor.
